As you Think, so you become

God's Thought -

AS YOU THINK, SO YOU BECOME

As You Think, So You Become

God says: "As you think, so you become"

This is not a proverb but the real meaning of life. This statement carries essence of our life. It throws light upon the reason behind our existence in the Universe. God says every creature in this Universe is of utmost importance. Every creature has a reason of existence, a meaning to live in the Universe, a purpose to fulfill for the betterment of all creatures present in the Universe. We take births and re-births on the Earth to perform certain actions and accordingly fulfill the purpose of Life. I, as human being, have taken birth, grow up, learn and gather much knowledge. Then after, do things useful and beneficial for other human souls and for mankind. Here, Mine and God's thoughts play a role for determining my futuristic plan and action.

In general, people can be categorized into three categories:

1.     People who want to do good for themselves and all others adopting all fair and truthful means.

2.     People who want to do good for themselves and all others adopting wherever required fair and truthful means elsewhere few fair but untruthful means.

3.     People who want to do good for themselves and all others adopting unfair and untruthful means (intentionally or unintentionally, maybe out of necessity).

In the above categories, we all try to do good for ourselves as well as others (here, others may mean- the near and dear ones of the concerned person who is doing the action or even the society or even the country or even the whole mankind). So, it can be concluded that as human beings generally and intentionally, we try to do good for all including ourselves. The difference lies in the methodologies adopted – fair or unfair and truthful or untruthful ways. Intentionally, we want to only benefit ourselves by the actions we perform. Even if the actions  performed are short-lived, yet we try to justify ourselves by proving the short-term goals those will be achieved by such actions which might not be fruitful for even ourselves in the near future. So, my dear ones, such short-lived actions and such short-term goals will never-ever result in the well-being of you, me and others. The ways / means adopted for performing any beneficial action is equally important as the result being achieved.

For instance, I am ready to feed my family. I go to any workplace, work hard and earn livelihood for myself and the entire family. At some other place, some other people are also ready to serve and feed their family. But, what means do they adopt? Either some theft or loot or any other unfair means – here, taking bribe is also an unfair, illegal and untruthful way. So, both are feeding their families but the methods adopted are different. Also, the result achieved is similar – i.e. to feed and serve their families. This makes very clear that As we think, so we become – what we want to do, how we want to achieve the end result – makes all difference in the result achieved and determines the longevity of the PURPOSE BEING SERVED AS WELL AS THE PURPOSE BEING SOLVED.

Fair and truthful means may make the path difficult to walk through but the fruits of success achieved through such means are definitely long-lived and beneficial for self and the whole human race. What I will think, the same I will execute in practice. The moment I think of practising ill-ways, my mindset will start evolving ideas based on negative approach. The moment, I check myself and stop the entry of such negative ideas in my mind, I start creating calmness and positive approach in my mind which results in transforming the unfair, untruthful means into fair and truthful means. Thus, what I think, I execute the same.

The Best I will Become
In layman term, the moment I force myself to be a successful person at all and any cost, will involve – all fair and unfair means. Next, when I educate myself that I will be successful, walking on the path of truth and fair means, this path will require patience and time along with long-term vision, but will definitely achieve success. There are no shortcuts in life; if any, such shortcuts may cut our lives short.

For instance, a student aims to be a scientist. He moves forward with all preparations, works hard, puts all efforts whole-heartedly to achieve the goal of life. Alternatively, another student wants to pursue a career in engineering field, puts all efforts, works hard but keeps an alternate option open before himself- that in case of failure in engineering field, he will prepare for Civil Administrative Services and achieve his goal. Now, the first student’s thoughts are stick to become a scientist in his field of interest – Life Sciences. So, his thoughts are sailing on a single boat and he will for sure sail across the sea and reach his destination.

The latter student’s thoughts are sailing on two boats – if not Engineer, then Public Administrator. His thoughts are – if he misses the first boat, he will hire the next boat and reach his destination.

So, what I think, I become. If I think of missing the boat- I will miss the boat; if I stick to my boat, no one can dare to take away my boat – not even my destiny.

We need to remember that 99% success is only 1% less than complete (100%) success. But, this 1% is nothing but failure – failure of thoughts which later on get transformed into failure of actions. This 1% failure of action attracts more percentage of negativity into mind which again result in more percentage of failure in action. Thus, result ending in failure.

So, better sail on a single boat of thoughts - positive thoughts of success.

As I Think, So I Become.

The Good I  think,
The Better I  act,

The Best I will become.
