Steps to achieve fruitful success in Life

To Be Successful In Life

When you move amidst the world of sense,
Free from attachment and aversion alike,
There comes the peace in which all sorrows end,
and you live in the wisdom of the Self.
- Shrimad Bhagwad Gita

Achieve Fruitful Success through positivity
We all have various aims and destinations in our lives. The aims and destinations of individuals may vary. The path we take-up to reach our goals may vary. What doesn't vary with regard to every individual's wish? It is the Fruit of Success at every Footstep in our lives. We all wish and believe in achieving success in all the goals to reach, in our lives. We need not worry about the goal or destination to reach, we need to emphasize on the path - truthful path adopted to reach the destination. We will definitely reach our goal provided the goal aims at betterment of Man and Mankind.
The various holy books in different religions aim at upliftment of Humans and Mankind. They preach us about the teachings of life. Such holy books always preach the Human Beings how to choose their goals in life, how to reach the proper goals of life, which truthful path to take to accomplish the goals of life and finally how to devote and surrender the accomplished goal in the well being of Man and Mankind.

How to achieve Fruitful Success in Life

We need to elaborate the above steps in our day-to-day life activities to perform and get the best result for the actions performed. According to Bhagwad Gita, briefly there can be 10 ways how to act, move on and take decisions in some of the most difficult situations occurring in our lives.

1st Step :  Feelings are temporary reactions taking place within our body. When any situation occurring in the atmosphere gives us pleasant feeling, we start feeling happy about the action. The next moment, in case of any unwanted happening, we start feeling sad and upset about the action held in the past. So, as per our thinking level, feelings arise within our body and make feel – happy or sad or upset or angry or get irritated or mentally disturbed. In fact, these feelings are nothing but the reactions that our body exhibits out of excitation due to the occurrence of any happening in the outside atmosphere. These feelings are only in form of bubbles which boil our temperament from within and as time moves on, these feelings settle down at the bottom of the heart. So, when the feelings are at it’s peak, we should never take haste decisions. Rather, wait for the feelings to settle, analyze the situation and finally, come to a decision regarding the action occurred.

2nd Step : As discussed, feelings are temporary reactions taking place within our body. When we are too happy or too sad, an emergency hormone-adrenalin, is released within our bodies which makes abnormal chemical changes within our bodies. During this moment, the decisions we take, are out of excitation due to the release of excess hormones (chemicals). These chemicals disturb our mind and heart i.e. create imbalance within our body and affect our thinking capability. Hence, the decisions taken out of rigorous feelings instead of facts and figures, may prove incorrect with due course of time. So, it’s always righteous to first allow our feelings to settle; bring our mind and heart to a balanced condition; analyze all facts and figures regarding the particular situation and then come to a decision.

Anger is a Form of Punishment

3rd Step : Anger and attachment- both are again forms of feelings being created within our bodies as a result of the situations occurring outside in the atmosphere. In extreme circumstances of taking decisions, I need to understand my mental status. I need to know whether my mind and heart both are working in proper coordination with each other. None should over-empower over the other. Mind and heart should always work hand-in-hand. For making proper and correct decisions, there needs to be accurate balance internally within the body. During anger, our mind loses control over itself and our heart fills up itself with immense negative feelings. So, making decision when in the midst of immense anger is definitely incorrect and such decisions take the situation out of control or even sometimes, twists the situation in negative and opposite direction. Attachment is also a feeling which creates partiality out of intimacy and blind love or faith towards one or other person. In case of any situation occurred, a person’s involvement in that situation who is either very close to me or whom I love and have faith over- I may not judge the things in an impartial manner. This is where attachment (out of love and intimacy) proves to be fatal. In such situations of immense attachment, our heart and mind both become weak and flow in wrong direction in order to save our loved one/ones. Thus proving that decisions taken in extreme conditions of either anger or attachment (love to support the incorrect) will definitely prove to be incorrect. Attachment carries alongwith it- a negative feeling to support and save the wrong as someone who is very close to us is related and involved in the matter. So, we need to have complete balance between our mind and heart and also be impartial while making most important decisions of ours and other’s lives.

4th Step: Guru says- “Focus only on result-oriented tasks.”

Guru says- focus on task and not on it’s result. Guru says- the task which we focus on must be result-oriented. So, Guru says- “Focus only on Result-oriented task” – i.e. perform only such tasks which are result-oriented but do not over-think about it’s end result; keep your eyes, mind and heart focused only on performing the action. Generally, we misinterpret any particular task and link the task with it’s expected result. Rather, as per Bhagwad Gita, we need to focus only on performing the task with full positivity and belief that the task will end up with the expected result as per God’s wish and not mingle our own wishes; since our added wishes act as impurities in performing God’s task and expected God’s result.

For instance, we plant a mango tree. As humans, we definitely expect of having good, healthy, sweet and tasty mangoes. Bhagwad Gita teaches us to focus on planting a good and healthy seed or a hybrid sapling. Then nurture the plant properly by timely watering the sapling, adding manures to the soil and see that it receives adequate amount of sunlight. Also, have a close watch on it’s proper growth on weekly/ monthly basis. While performing the action, we forget that we have planted the seed for sweet mangoes. Such, should be our focus on performing the task that we should forget about it’s expected result and leave the result on time- for it’s only “time” which unveils the expected result – neither me nor you. So, focus only on performing Task, Task, Task….

Focus only on the journey of performing Tasks

5th  Step: Change is the law of Nature. Change is constant and for all’s betterment. According to time and tide, we need to change our behavior, our ways of thinking and acceptance of situation / matter. What we have been doing since childhood or our old days may not be the working methodology in today’s era. We need to change our thinking perspectives and act according to recent times. For proper result-oriented tasks, we need to exchange the chairs and then perform the best required action. For such performance of result-oriented tasks, the most important thing is to leave the comfort zone – understand the outer world, analyze all the perspectives of the action to be performed and finally perform the work with complete positivity and full focus on it’s timely completion. Time is again an important factor because it’s time which decides the Tide as well as the direction of Tide. The way, I need to perform the work may not be in the same conventional manner as people might have been doing the same task. But, it hardly matters. Do Not look back for Change Is Constant And it’s one of The Most Basic Laws Of Nature.

6th  Step: Bhagwad Gita teaches us to have utmost faith and belief in ourselves and God. Whatsoever work/ task we are performing, we need to have faith that it’s for betterment of all. Irrespective of the expected result, we need to focus on the task to be performed. This doesn’t mean that we get the license to do wrong acts such as – thefts, using abusive languages against others or creating ill-feelings or nuisance against others. In short, having any negativity about others in practical life in not permissible for any living being. We must remember, any task that is full of positivity for almost all beings in the Universe is the Task recommended by the Almighty. So, we need to have faith, belief, trust and above all Love and respect for the Almighty and His Task which God needs to get accomplished by me – the doer/ the action hero / the actor of this particular scene of God’s playful drama. So, before starting any wiseful work, surrender the work along with it’s successful result to God. This act puts a belief that the work along with it’s successful result is completely the responsibility of God and that “I”, The actor is only a righteous medium to get the work of God accomplished with complete faith on God and His chosen mediator – which is “I”-The Me. So, focus on the work to be done, keep performing the work with full faith, belief, trust and respect on Yourself and the Almighty God.

7th Step:  Bhagwad Gita teaches us to keep our goals high. The actions we perform in our lives has certain reasons, has certain goals to achieve; else without adequate reasons we do not act. For instance, we eat because - firstly, we feel hungry; secondly, to fulfill our hunger i.e. to satisfy the feeling of our hungriness; thirdly and most importantly, to energize ourselves for performing actions day after day. Here, the action is- We feel hungry and the result of the action is – We eat food.  So, it’s very clear that even in our everyday life, we do things of utmost importance and with very appropriate reasons for all these said actions. Similarly, we need to focus on higher goals in our lives. A leader is always followed by the mass. Common people always look forward towards people who are full of extraordinary skills and are capable of performing outstanding work. A leader is always born with a vision to achieve in his life which is definitely for the benefit of mankind, for the upliftment of humanity and which is fruitful for almost all beings in the Universe. For instance, Swami Vivekananda lived his life, preached the teachings of Indian Vedas to the entire World, established relationship between Science and Religion with complete proofs in front of the whole world. Paramhansa Yogananda very accurately explained the meta-physical existence of God in this Universe. Great men always stand as Live Examples in front of us. We, all common men till date follow his preachings in our everyday life and strive to make our lives meaningful for ourselves and for others. So, in our every breathe, we should strive to do something good and great which can stand as an exception in the society and so on.

8th Step: When we think and talk about great men, we do understand how they are categorized as Great Men. Definitely, these great people have done things of importance for the humanity, for the betterment of mankind- this is the single and foremost reason for classifying them as Great Men. When we perform actions for the betterment of the society – it includes betterment of ourselves as well as others. This very clearly states that – that which is better for others, for the society, for the world will definitely end in the betterment of ours. So, that what is good for the Society will surely be good for us. Any action what we perform may show it’s goodness for the society immediately but instantly may not prove it’s betterment for the self i.e ourself. But, as time moves on, for sure, we will feel and believe the goodness of the work performed by us, in the past, will have a positive and better impact upon our lives as well. This emphasizes, work performed for the betterment of mankind / society always proves to be long lasting and fruitful for all the beings including the Self.

9th Step: Bhagwad Gita emphasizes on existence of God and firm belief on God including The Self. When we act, we analyze whether the consequences of the action would be positive or negative for Self and Others. As concluded in the previous step – that act which is good for the society is definitely good for ourselves. Before performing any action, it’s always better to surrender the work along with it’s forth-happening result to the Lord. Then with complete surrendrance to the Almighty Authority, The God, we should start the action with full faith, belief and trust over The Lord. Trust over the Self is equally and foremost important. So, we all have to Trust the Lord and pray to Him for His mercy so that we all perform His task positively along with complete trust over ourselves also. We should also, emphasize on the positive way/ manner to successfully accomplish all tasks of the Lord. So, again and again Trust in the Lord is foremost important task and to Become God’s Trustworthy is the next foremost important task of the Lord.

10th Step : Right counselling always leads to right decisions.

In every aspect of life, we find ourselves at the mid-way of two paths: Do & Don’t – What to do & what not to do?  What is righteous and what is evil? Which action will be fruitful for Self including others & which may prove to be fatal for Self & others? At such aspects of life, a faithful guide and a knowledgeable counselor is required to counsel us before performing such important tasks. At every important moment of our life, we are not able to find someone who is trustworthy, more knowledgeable than oneself, one who can foresee the positive as well as the other consequences of the action to be performed. Then, the question arises- who can be our perfect Guide? Who can undoubtfully and selfishlessly become our True Guide? Definitely, we find people who help us to overcome such situations or even obstacles. At various times, people guide, support and help us but at other times, they also, are not able to differentiate between the positive and negative impact/ consequences of a particular action. So, I always, from the core of my heart, feel that the best and perfect Guide can be only and only The Almighty Authority – The God. Believe me, the moment, we surrender ourselves to God- We completely become God’s responsibility and it is God’s task to guide us in His perfect, balanced and ever-accomplishing manner.  So, trust me, the Best and most righteous Guide and counselor is only “God”. God can only lead us to the most Righteous Decision.

Here, we have discussed the brief 10 steps based on Bhagwad Gita to attain fruitful decisions in life and simultaneously to lead a life full of righteous actions which may prove to be a boon for the entire humanity and mankind- since God dwells in Man and Mankind.

Free from attachment and aversion alike,
There comes the peace in which all sorrows end,
and you live in the wisdom of the Self.

Ray of Hope in Life - Positive Attitude

Remain Positive, Stay Positive

Take every waking hour as it comes and do what you are supposed to do and complete what you're supposed to complete. Stop over-analyzing or trying to predict and plan things too far. The only constant thing in life is change. Just live in the moment and do your best.
The first step to become happy is to feel comfortable in your own skin. Everyone was born with a flaw. No one is perfect. Accept yourself with what you're born - with whether it be your background, your skin, your nose, your eyes or any other thing. You have to accept yourself for who you are and love yourself.
It is the only one fact which eliminates happiness from everyone's life - which is really very disappointing. Because if you are not comfortable in your own skin, this becomes your biggest concern that stays on the top of your mind everyday -- it kills your self-esteem, your self-confidence, and the happiness that comes from within. The relationship that you share with yourself is the most important relationship - above all other relations and if you can't make peace with your inner self, it will keep bothering your heart, mind and the soul as well.
If you find it hard - only because some other people discriminate or make judgements about you. In such cases, you need to maintain physical and mental distance from people who are shallow and narrow-minded. Better STAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVITY and waste thoughts, words and actions of such other people. You are definitely better than those persons. Prove to them and to yourself that you are capable and talented in so many other ways. Surround yourself with such people who possess the same values and qualities as you have and leave behind such people who possess all negative and waste attitudes.
Leave your Comfort Zone and adopt "Let go"

You will many a times  run into unfortunate situations of life -such situations are out of your control. You can choose to feel sad, annoyed, angry or stressed about the situation or turn it around and focus on the positive parts of life. You can choose to be stuck in a bad or negative situation or let go, move on and start with a new series of positive opportunities in your life.
Let's learn from a failure or a bad experience and never repeat the same mistake. Every setback and bad situation in life teaches you something. Growth doesn't occur in comfort. You need to come out of your comfort zone to bring something great happen in your life. Take it as an opportunity to train your mind- to be stronger, more resilient, and more equipped - to be able to deal with things that life throws at you. There's a Chinese idiom - "A frog in the well" - which points out towards such people who can't / don't see the bigger picture around because of their narrow-mindedness or rather close-mindedness.
Most of the time you hold onto anger because you believe it would make the person you're mad at, upset and realize that they have done something wrong. But the fact, is that you are actually hanging up yourself on something that's burning you within. When you're mad at someone, the pain is onto yourself more than it is onto the person you're mad at. When you hate someone, the fire is within your own mind. No matter what one does to you -- hurt you, look down on you, underestimate you, backstab you, abuse you, or cheat you -- when you hold the hatred, you hold the hurt. Only when you learn to let go, you let your soul free from the pain. No matter what it was that caused them to take certain negative actions towards you, the best thing you can do is to "let go". It will be hard to do if you've never done it before. But slowly, one day at a time, be patient, let it go, forgive those who've done you wrong, you will feel that each day you get stronger and more powerful.
If you're struggling to "let go", start with meditation. Even meditation is hard because you need to control yourself. You need not think anything while meditating -- but that's the key! Being able to control one's thoughts and focus and keep one's mind at peace strengthens the mind's muscles -- this is the secret power of meditation.
The fire is only within you. The person you hate doesn't feel your hatred. "Let it go". "Let it go".
Many of us worry. We worry about our future -- about our career, health, living, finances, and about the people we love. We worry because we are scared - scared of losing them, scared of missing them. However, worrying doesn't make anything better unless we stop worrying and start taking actions towards our goals. If you're worried about your health when you get older, then you should start eating healthy and exercising regularly. If you're worried about your finances, then you should start saving up for the rainy days. If you're worried about your kids, then encourage them to take actions to help you ease your worries.
God is My Guide, My Companion & My Saviour

Remember that worrying about your loved ones doesn't actually make them better. It only affects your health and you. Your loved ones will need to take actions themselves. All you can do is to encourage them and help them move towards the right direction.
We don't want to accept that we are wrong because it makes us feel rejected and unaccepted. The non-acceptance of truth increases our stress and diminishes our self-confidence. And, self-confidence is equivalent to soul-confidence. With subsequent cycles of positive, negative and waste thinking process, we mingle up every aspect of our life - thus, leading to degradation of Soul-confidence. When, there is lesser quantity of soul (self)-confidence, there are more chances of losing / missing all those things / persons in our life whom we consider to be inseparable from ourselves. Here, ourselves stands for the Soul (Human Being).

So, stand at greater heights of Soul-confidence to win yourself as well as other's hearts.

The Secret of Happiness of My Life

Happiness of My Life

"I am a soul (star-like) seated on the throne of my human body’s forehead. I, the soul, am wearing the costume of a human body. I reside with my father, the Almighty Authority God high above, beyond the horizon in the Abode of God. I am sitting very close to God, just beneath him. He is showering his happiness upon me. I can feel, his happiness is easily and naturally flowing within me, the soul. By and by, I am trying to imbibe God’s happiness within me. He is making me HAPPY. I can experience God’s happiness within myself, the soul. God’s pious happiness in form of pious happy rays is entering into myself, the soul. My whole human body is experiencing God’s pious happiness. As if, the God's happiness rays have entered into my every body part, every organ. I am feeling, as if, God’s pious happiness is flowing along with blood in my whole body and rejuvenating my entire human soul / body."

The old memories through messages, photographs or/and in any other form makes us re-live those past memories / moments in our lives and re-fills our lives with immense heart-felt happiness. Thus, we conclude that happiness can be felt by the simplest action in our lives. We need not run hither and thither after things of materialistic value rather we need to pause our thoughts, evoke within ourselves the perspective of a feeling of happiness in our day-to-day actions and in our every moment actions. The change in our views towards our everyday actions will bring about a change in our perspective and in turn this change will create THE FEEL OF HAPPINESS - GODLY HAPPINESS in our own lives.

God is the immortal source of happiness. We have realized God is loveful. Here, we shall focus on our and God’s quality of happiness. You and I, as common people, require petty reasons to be happy. Just as a small bar of chocolate makes a 4 year old child feel happy. Similarly, my mother’s or father’s phone call makes me happy while I am away from my home for longer duration. Just as, one of my very old and dear friend’s – a warm good morning whatsapp message makes me feel happy that I, still, am a special person in my friend’s book (life).
